I have a friend who is actually studying automotive. He always tells me that he is enjoying what he's doing right now unlike when he is still studying his previous major which is Mechanical engineering. Well, as his supportive friend, I always tell him how proud I am of what he did because pursuing your dream even though a lot of people are against it is indeed a brave and inspiring act. Her mom, by the way, doesn't support him with what he has chosen so I know how hard it is for him to continue. I hope his family will now be able to acknowledge what he really wants.

You are correct that it is important to regularly check your car battery. I learned this the hard way a few years ago. Mine wasn't a brand new car to begin with. It was an older model, but the engine was still okay. Long story short, my car battery died in the middle of the night with no help in sight. That experience was scary because I was stranded in a part of town that I wasn't familiar with. Today, I have the number of our local mechanic. I've never forgotten to bring my car for a regular check up and maintenance. Or if I forget, my mechanic reminds me. Luckily, I live in a town where the community is tightly knit. We look out for each other. I recommend establishing a good relationship with a mechanic that you can trust. This is true for all car owners, especially those who don't know anything about cars.
